Chickens don’t like adventures, but Rollo is no ordinary chicken. With a heart full of wanderlust in his feathery breast, he defies the expectations of his coop as he embarks on a quest to find the fabled Golden Egg in the long lost tomb of Cluckankhamun.

If you’re already familiar with my Detective Mo series, you will notice that Rollo is quite a different book in many ways.
First, it’s much shorter, only about 350 words. It’s also written in rhyme, making it an ideal bedtime story for younger children. I also took quite a different approach to the illustrations, using a combination of hand-drawing and vector graphics which I brougt together on Canva (I’ll maybe do a blog about that another day).
