Anyone Want to Review Detective Mo?

I’m not gonna lie to you. I need to reach more people with Detective Mo and the Missing Prince and Detective Mo and the Pirates’s Treasure and for that reason, I need some kind souls to read and review them for me.

Amazon reviews would be especially welcome but any support would be very welcome indeed. I’m particularly keen to reach parents/grandparents etc of young children, teachers and, of course, professional reviewers.

I’m sure we could arrange a free copy or two to go to the right people so please, drop me a line if you’re interested.

Of course, if you’ve already bought Detective Mo, I would be very grateful if you could take the time to offer a review on Amazon too. It would be a BIG help to me πŸ™‚.

Hi, I’m always up for giving a review. I thought you could review books on Amazon without purchasing them but
After receiving an ARC. Are you on GoodReads? That’s my favorite place to write book reviews. In fact, I was looking for you there, because I follow all the authors on Goodreads Who have blogs that I follow on WordPress.
I would Love to review both books. I prefer Digital copies. Do your books have pictures? If so, do The pictures in the digital copies include image descriptions for blind and visually impaired readers?
Also, when it comes to either authors I know, or authors I’ve been following for a long time on social media, i’m a publicity support reviewer. This means, I won’t give reviews lower than four stars. If I honestly don’t think your books are any good, i’ll tell you my reasons why, one on one via email. Amazon shoppers or Goodreads browsers Will never have too know. They’ll only see what I
Liked about the books in my reviews, which there is almost always something I like about every book I read, good or bad.
Let me know if you’re up for this, and I’ll give you my email.

    • Hi Bia, thanks for this πŸ™‚

      Yes, I am on Goodreads (https://www.goodreads.com/penstricken) .

I am planning on making Kindle versions of both Detective Mo books, but at the moment it’s only available as a paperback (though I’m glad you mentioned it because I hadn’t initially thought to include descriptions for visually impaired readers but that’s actually a very good idea I’m going to look into including).

Yes, these books are aimed at young children, so each page includes one page of text on the left page and a full page picture on the right.

Let me know if you’re happy to receive a paperback and I’ll send you a copy (failing that, I could send you a digital copy but this would just be a PDF version of the paperback without the cover as the e-book isn’t ready yet).

Just send a PDF. Things will go a lot quicker and easier that way. My email is tiawojo@gmail.com
How about I ask my sister if she’d like to give a review too. She’s been dabbling into young children’s writing. You’ll definitely get a review on Goodreads. I’ll try to post a review on Amazon, but i’m sorry to admit that I’d never done that in my life. Only Goodreads and Apple Books, because it’s the easier, lazier way to post reviews through their apps, rather than cluttered websites that often demand you do extra steps to get something posted.
By the way, I saw your Pen Stricken book on Goodreads. Dude, you got to do something about that book description. It’s a snore.

I just read both books and I Must say–They are so cute!☺️❀️ Adorable! I really think kids will like these. And I like how you encourage the readers to try and figure out the mysteries. The endings are funny too. My totally honest five star reviews will be coming soon on Goodreads. Great workπŸ‘πŸ‘
As for my sister, sorry, but I screwed up with that one. She never wrote a review in her life and doesn’t know how. She was like, “If I write a review, I would want the author to tell me what they want me to write.” I thought this was kind of funny, because anyone could just tell her to write how awesome their book is and how everyone needs to read it and it needs to be on the New York Times Best seller list and stuff like that.
So you have just me reviewing, but not for long. If you show these to any parents of little kids that you know, or teachers or daycare workers, or people who do story times at your local library they will be impressed.
